Selichot Learning and Services

The time leading up to the high holidays is a time of reflection, learning, and communal prayer. We come together for Selichot to recite the special prayers of repentance and forgiveness. We will start the evening with learning, which will be led by Rabbi Mychal B. Springer, the manager of Clinical Pastoral Education at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the founder of the Center for Pastoral Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary.

Her session, The Complexity of Memory During the Yamim Noraim, begins at 8:30 pm. Following Rabbi Springer’s learning session, join us as Rabbis Cosgrove and Zuckerman install Rabbi Zauzmer in a heartfelt, meaningful, and spiritual ceremony, followed by an inspiring Selichot service. We look forward to seeing you all at synagogue leading up to the Days of Awe.
