5784 Kol Nidrei Appeal
You might be here every morning for minyan or only come once a year on Kol Nidrei. Either way, you know that Park Avenue Synagogue is an inclusive community at the forefront of Judaism. Your support of our annual Kol Nidrei Appeal allows PAS to remain mission-focused, no matter what.
Your donation allows us to continue helping you on your journey and inspiring you toward living a passion-filled Jewish life. Together we will rejuvenate our spirits, reinforce our priorities, and renew our sense of community. The success of the Kol Nidrei Appeal each year also ensures that no congregant is turned away due to financial need – something that now feels more important than ever. Those who can donate help those who cannot.
Do Mitzvot – Give Tzedakah
Park Avenue Synagogue is committed to making the old new and the new sacred.
When you make PAS a philanthropic priority, you are helping us to be a Beit Tefillah (a house of prayer), a Beit Midrash (a house of learning), and a Beit Knesset (a house of community). Your support today ensures that we will continue to build our people's future together.
Your gifts help to fund our clergy and our music; our children and their education; our programing and our library; our food pantry and our ability to help those in our community and beyond.
Whether commemorating a life cycle moment for your family, noting a friend’s time of joy or of mourning, or simply expressing a wish to improve and strengthen our congregational home, your support makes life at PAS possible.
Opportunities to Give
Many like to donate to honor a time of joy, transition, or sorrow for a loved one.
Memorial and Planned Giving
Not all Jews mourn alike, and no one way is correct. Some mourners choose to honor the deceased by contributing to PAS as a public promise to make their memory a blessing.
PAS recently completed a once-in-a-generation capital campaign to expand and enhance our campus. However, the work of building our people’s future never ends.
Todah! acknowledges all gifts made to Park Avenue Synagogue and is produced monthly. Your continued support ensures that we can continue to pray, educate, celebrate, comfort, and do mitzvot together.
“The act of giving reflects a heartfelt attitude of gratitude and announces to God and to the world that we are indeed thankful for the blessings of our lives.”– Rabbi Elliot J. Cosgrove, Ph.D.
