
Oscar Acevedo
oacevedo@pasyn.orgOscar Acevedo joined Park Avenue Synagogue as the Director of Audio Visual and Production in July 2021. He has a long history of music production and audio engineering experience having ventured into the field at age 13. As a teenager, he started doing live audio for family events, weddings, bnei mitzvahs, baby showers, and parties.
Prior to joining PAS, Oscar served as the audio-visual manager for the New York Historical Society where he managed live events and played a major part in AV design for exhibitions. His experience also includes working as a courtroom technology audio-visual specialist for U.S. District Court - Southern District of New York. He was the lead in outfitting more than 40 federal courtrooms with high-end AV technology. Oscar has managed key events and worked with Billie Jean King, Google, the NHL, Carl Bernstein, and many others. He also interned at RCA Records and eventually turned his passion for music production into his career.
Immediately after joining Park Avenue Synagogue, Oscar was successful in broadcasting the high holidays with more than 60,000 people viewing Kol Nidre.
He is a graduate of SAE Institute of Technology New York. He owns two recording studios and is a proud father of two beautiful girls, 7 and 13.
