Jamie returned to PAS as the Director of Young Family Education and the Director of Camp Keshet in July 2016. In 2011–14 she was an Assistant Director of the Congregational School, focusing on the learners in grades K–2 and helping to develop the school's experiential education program. During her time away from New York in 2014–16, she served as the Director of Jewish and Israel Education for Herzl Camp in Webster, WI and the Director of Curriculum and Professional Development at Temple Israel in Minneapolis, MN.
Jamie earned an MA in Jewish Education from the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education at JTS, a BS in Psychology from Columbia University, and a BA in the Hebrew Bible from JTS. She studied for a year at the Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has worked in Jewish day schools, synagogues, and Jewish summer camps.
Jamie is thrilled to be back at Park Avenue Synagogue and to work with our congregation’s youngest members and their families.
