Jewish Learning
Wednesday Evening Programing
Join us as weekly as we wrestle with modern day issues through a Jewish lens, discuss the challenges of being teenagers in today's world, and bring new life to the great wisdom of Jewish text. We meet with PAS clergy and other special guests for 3-4 week long modules. 8th and 9th graders meet weekly and 10-12th graders meet every other week. Dinner is always included.
Wednesdays / 6:30pm - 8pm / Teen Lounge
Wednesday Evening Schedule
8th - 9th grade
8th and 9th graders meet once a week to explore ethical dilemmas and practice healthy disagreement. We will be utilizing JTS's new curriculum "The Ethical Life", which is designed to help teens think broadly utilizing Jewish texts and their own life experience as evidence, discover their values, and strengthen their connection with each other.
This course will be taught by Ariel Glueck and Christopher Penello, a JTS rabbinical student.
