State of Mind: A Conversation with Stephen Fried

As part of JDAIM, Jewish Disabilities and Inclusion Awareness Month at PAS, explore the complex reality of mental health in America with New York Times bestselling author and investigative journalist Stephen Fried. Drawing from the stories and experiences of people he has spoken to, he will discuss how this issue disproportionately impacts individuals in their 20s and 30s. Stephen Fried wrote A Common Struggle: A Personal Journey Through the Past and Future of Mental Illness and Addiction with Congressman Patrick Kennedy. He teaches at Columbia and at UPenn.
