Wed / Apr 7 / 12:00 pm
Grant Gochin, Silvia Foti, and Rabbi Savenor
Zoom
Silvia Foti and Grant Gochin come together expose how Foti’s grandfather murdered Gochin’s family during the Holocaust, and how these hideous crimes were covered up by the Lithuanian government in their campaign to rewrite the Lithuanian history of the Holocaust.
Grant Gochin, MBA, CFP, is an American philanthropist, journalist, politician, and activist of Jewish South African descent. Gochin left South Africa after being detained for his anti-Apartheid activities and today works to counter Holocaust revisionism and anti-Semitism in Lithuania. Most recently, he has investigated and worked to prosecute Lithuanian leaders who participated in or were complicit in Lithuanian Holocaust activities and the persecution of Lithuanian Jews.
Silvia Kučėnaitė Foti, MSJ, MAT, MFA, is a journalist, creative writer, teacher, writers’ conference organizer, and mother. Upon her mother's death, Foti set out to write the story of her famous grandfather, a Lithuanian war hero; however, as she dug deeper, she discovered that her grandfather was actually a Nazi. On this journey, she exposed an official cover-up by the Lithuanian government that resulted in an internationally followed lawsuit.
