Happy Tree Day!
Congregational School: Virtual Tu BiShvat Seder
Thu / Jan 13 / 6:30 pm / Online
Zoom
Join the Youth and Congregational School departments for an evening of meaning and fun! A Tu BiShvat Seder, like a Passover Seder, follows a certain order. In this case, the seder serves as a way to celebrate the important role trees play in our lives. It’s traditional to eat Israeli fruits such as figs, dates, and carobs; eat fruits you haven’t tasted before; and say the Shehehiyanu (a blessing of gratitude when experiencing something new).
To prepare for our virtual seder together, please have the following at home for your child:
Dark Grape Juice
Light Grape Juice
Apple
Orange
Olives
Plums
Dates
Raisins
If you have any questions, please reach out to Rachel Sher or Melissa Silverman Cohavi.
