Classes – Growing and Learning

Boker Tov

Our youngest learners love exploring Jewish themes and holidays through stories, song, movement, and more in this formative Jewish experience for kids. Both kids and their adults alike are sure to make new friends and form connections with other families.

Shalom Shtayim

Watch your kids explore everything from cooking to expressing themselves artistically and musically as you give them a firm foundation for growth with this innovative Jewish program.

Parent Opportunities

We offer many opportunities to connect, unwind, and build community with other parents of young children. Throughout the year, we host parenting groups that look to Jewish wisdom for insight and advice. And because parents need to have fun too, we also host Mahjong nights, comedy shows, cooking experiences, and more.

Shabbat in the YFE

We offer a vibrant and joyful lineup of Shabbat programming designed especially for young families. Join us for monthly Kabbalat Shabbat dinners filled with food, music, and community, lively Havdalah experiences to close out Shabbat together, and hands-on Ritual Lab programs where we explore Jewish traditions in creative ways. Throughout the year, we also host engaging and meaningful Shabbat Shelanu services on Saturdays, which are just for little ones and their grown-ups.

Music as Jewish Education

Music is part of our core philosophy at Park Avenue Synagogue as we use it in all aspects of our Jewish education. Click the read more button below to listen to recordings of the most common music we use at PAS. Listen, learn, and enjoy!
