Park Avenue Synagogue is a caring and spiritual community that extends its love of Judaism and Jewish learning through study, prayer, varied programming, and support of the State of Israel. You are welcome to attend our services and most of our classes even if you are not a member, and we can assure you that you’ll find a multifaceted community ready to embrace you however you wish to participate.

Becoming a Member of PAS
Park Avenue Synagogue welcomes all – singles, couples, interfaith couples, and individuals with disabilities. Our doors are open to everyone who wishes to participate and deepen their Jewish identity, regardless of age, race, financial means, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
Those new to our community begin as Pre-Aleph members, where they enjoy all the benefits of PAS membership, excluding High Holiday seating. Both Family and Individual Pre-Aleph memberships are available.
When High Holiday seating becomes available, members will transition from Pre-Aleph to Aleph membership with unreserved High Holiday seats.
Reserved High Holiday Day seats at the 87th Street location are allocated to current members upon availability and upgrade to Bet membership.
Non-resident membership is available to those whose primary legal residence is outside New York City and who wish to maintain an affiliation with Park Avenue Synagogue and receive ongoing PAS communications. Please note that non-resident membership does not include High Holiday tickets.
