About the Extended Family Service
On the mornings of Rosh Hashanah Day 1 (Saturday, September 12) and Yom Kippur (Monday, September 21), we are introducing a 90-minute Extended Family Service that creates a shared experience for PAS parents who have High Holiday tickets and children in fourth, fifth, and sixth grades (and their siblings).
It will include the central elements of the High Holiday liturgy as well as music, the Torah service, and a sermon. Led by Rabbis Bradley Solmsen and Alexis Pinsky, it will take place in the Third Floor Chapel at 87th Street. Children may also attend youth programming.
Families who wish to attend the services, which will be at 9:00 am and 11:00 am, must register by August 14.
Tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are also planning to attend PAS adult High Holiday services, we suggest that you register for the 9:00 am extended family service. Parents must attend the services with their children.
