Evening Services with Megilah Reading
Mon / Mar 2 / Approximately 8:00 pm (following Purim Spiel) / 87th Street and Online
Celebrate this joyous holiday and the story of the heroic Esther. PAS has everything you need to celebrate, whether it's with young children, those in their 20s and 30s, or entire families.
On Purim, it is a mitzvah to perform the commandment of matanot l’evyonim (gifts to the needy). This year, PAS has come up with a way for you to perform two of these mitzvot – giving food gifts to friends and helping the needy – at the same time.
For $72, you can send a box of 16 kosher chocolate truffles to family or friends while also making a meaningful donation to two important causes: The New York Common Pantry, which provides food and support services to New Yorkers in need, and Darca Schools, which advocates for equal educational opportunities for youth in Israel’s underserved communities.
In the coming weeks, we’ll share more opportunities for you to continue supporting these organizations in impactful ways
To order, fill out this form by Tuesday, February 10 at 8:00 pm.
