In this eight-week class, explore the stories and characters of the Torah that form the foundation of our heritage and traditions. Learn how to approach the study of Torah through various methods of inquiry such as rabbinic commentaries, Midrash, and modern scholarship. Our study and discussions this first semester will span from the story of creation through the story of Joseph – when the Israelites enter Egypt.
