his experience fighting on the physical battlefield in Gaza

Join David Harris, who spent nearly 20 years advocating for
Soviet Jews and was twice detained by Soviet authorities,
to explore the powerful story of the Soviet Jewry movement
and its lasting impact. This session looks at how a group of
modern-day Maccabees in the USSR—including young
activists—helped overcome tyranny and achieve an historic
victory allowing millions of Soviet Jews to emigrate, and
what their legacy can teach us about standing up for
Jewish communities today.
