JBI Library – a nonprofit that helps individuals with vision impairments and print disabilities access Jewish life – recently released the first-ever Braille transcription of the Siddur Lev Shalem for Shabbat and Festivals. At the workshop, learn about the process of transcribing texts into Braille. During Kabbalat Shabbat, hear from Michelle Shapiro Abraham, executive director of JBI Library, about the continued efforts to increase accessibility to Jewish spaces for those with vision impairments.
