ASL Workshop: Learn the Basics!
Fri / Feb 7 / 5:00 pm / 87th St
Carole Moskowitz
Before Friday evening services that feature American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, learn about its fundamentals, including how it is structured, how we use our faces and bodies in addition to our hands to communicate in ASL, and come away with some basic phrases that can be used in synagogue that evening.
Professor Carole Moskowitz, on the faculty at New York University’s Steinhardt School, has been teaching ASL for over 20 years.
