Aiden Pink is a rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary and the Rabbinic Intern at Park Avenue Synagogue. He is also his class’s representative on JTS’s student council, the director of the seminary’s Rabbinical & Cantorial School Placement Service, and the research assistant to JTS Chancellor Shuly Rubin Schwartz.
Aiden is also a Wexner Graduate Fellow, his class’s representative on JTS’s student council, and previously held rabbinic internships at Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action, Hillel International, and the Rabbinical Assembly. His academic work has received the Stephen Henry Shefin Memorial Prize for outstanding second-year student and the Sarah and Morris Rosenberg Prize for best essay on Jewish thought.
Before returning to school, Aiden worked as the deputy news editor of The Forward, where his work received commendations from the American Jewish Press Association and the New York chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Aiden graduated with honors from American University, where he served on the Jewish Student Association board and led Shabbat services at Hillel. He is a proud alumnus of Herzl Camp, where he worked for many summers on the education team, and the Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School, where he later returned to coach its basketball team to an undefeated season. Aiden lives on the Upper West Side with his wife, Aniko.
