Discussion Leader: Rabbinical Intern Shayna Golkow

This Shabbat will be Shayna's last Havurah before she is ordained at JTS and begins a new job with a congregation on the West Coast.

Havurah is an intimate, family-friendly, congregant-led, participatory service that meets every few weeks during the fall, winter and spring. People of all ages and skills attend, and many people take turns leading, davening, reading Torah and Haftarah, and facilitating Torah discussions. Rabbi Witkovsky serves as guide and teacher.

People of all skill levels are welcome to participate in Havurah. If you are interested in being involved and would like help preparing to lead prayers, read Torah or Haftarah, or facilitate the Torah discussion, please contact Rabbi Witkovsky at ewitkovsky@pasyn.org or Brian Lustbader at BLustbader@schiffhardin.com.
