Shavuot Service

Sat | May 19 | 7:00 pm | 87th Street

The Torah establishes Shavuot as Hag Ha-Bikkurim, the festival of the early summer harvest. Over time, the holiday also became recognized as Zman Matan Torateinu, the time when we celebrate the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai by reading the Ten Commandments.

With words of Torah and music in honor of Cantor Lissek.

After services there will be a Festive Reception.
