Evening Minyan

June 28, 2017 - 5:45 pm
Appleman Chapel

Help make a minyan! Even during the leisurely months of summer, members of the PAS community say Kaddish in memory of their loved ones. Please come to afternoon minyan at 5:45 pm – especially on Sundays and Mondays, when fewer people are in town – and show your support for your fellow congregants by helping to ensure that people are able to chant this meaningful prayer.

We read in Psalm 69, verse 14: Va-ani tefilati l'kha Adonai eit ratzon – as for me, may my prayer come to You, O Lord, at a favorable moment. The Talmudic sages ask, "What is a favorable moment?" They answer, "The moment when a community comes together in prayer." Let us create a favorable moment together.
