Gallery Opening: Photography With Joy

This new exhibit features photographs taken by Holocaust survivors living in Israel that speak of courage, aging, surviving, loving, and living. They are the product of unique workshops held across Israel, through which survivors can express their personal stories, memories, and feelings. The workshops are a joint project of JDC-Eshel, the Israel Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services, and UJA-Federation of New York.

At the opening reception, meet Yossi Heymann, the new Director of JDC-Eshel. Established in 1969, JDC-Eshel is the premier force for innovation in elderly care in Israel, developing transformative services that profoundly enhance seniors’ independence and quality of life.
