History of Anti-Semitism and the Holocaust
Thu | Begins Oct 17 | 9:15–10:30 am | 10 sessions
Dr. David Kaufman

As Jews, we are always aware of anti-Semitism. In recent months, this awareness has become a daily concern. Historical perspective is indispensable to understand today’s realities and our reactions to them. To better comprehend both our history and ourselves, this class will address issues such as the origin of anti-Semitism, root causes of the Holocaust, why anti-Semitism is intensifying once again, and how Holocaust memory influences our understanding of and response to anti-Semitism today.
