Capital Campaign

Park Avenue Synagogue has launched a capital campaign: A Synagogue in Action: Building the Future.

To better serve our vibrant community and build on the achievements of our predecessors, Park Avenue Synagogue needs additional space and a refurbished home. We recently dedicated our new Eli M. Black Lifelong Learning Center on East 89th Street and will embark on the renovation of our 87th Street building beginning in June 2018. The vision and plans for the new Park Avenue Synagogue campus are available via the link to the Capital Campaign brochure. We invite you to look through the brochure and Frequently Asked Questions below. Our objectives for the campaign are three-fold—to reach our fundraising targets, to build our community through broad participation in the campaign and to continue to care for our shared future as prior generations did for us. Just as those who came before set the stage for us, we believe it is now our responsibility to address the current and future needs of Park Avenue Synagogue. Over 80% of our congregants have made donations to the campaign. We invite each and every one of you to be part of our shared legacy.
