Capital Campaign

Park Avenue Synagogue has launched a capital campaign: A Synagogue in Action: Building the Future.

To better serve our vibrant community and build on the achievements of our predecessors, we need additional space and a refurbished home. We have purchased what will become our new Lifelong Learning Center on East 89th Street and have developed detailed plans to renovate our 87th Street building. All members of our community were mailed a folder containing materials which lay out the vision and plans for the new Park Avenue Synagogue campus in greater detail. We hope you will take the time to look through the brochure and Frequently Asked Questions. Links to the materials are available below. Over seven hundred and fifty families have already made investments in the new campus.  Our objectives for the campaign are three-fold—to reach our fundraising targets, to build our community through broad participation in the campaign and to continue to care for our shared future as prior generations did for us. Just as those who came before set the stage for us, we believe it is now our responsibility to address the current and future needs of Park Avenue Synagogue. We invite each and every one of you to be part of our shared legacy.

Please watch the Bulletin for monthly updates on our progress.
