In partnership with CaringKind, PAS is offering a 10-week psychoeducational group for caregivers of spouses/partners experiencing mild cognitive impairment or various types of dementia, including Alzheimer's, Lewy body, vascular, frontotemporal, or mixed dementias. Each of the 10 unique sessions focus on providing foundational knowledge about disease progression, adapting to changing relationships, coping with grief and loss, engaging a broader support system, grappling with legal and financial considerations, and the role of spirituality.
A caregiver or care partner is defined as anyone who tends to the emotional, physical, financial, or other needs of a person with dementia or memory loss.
