Festival Evening Service

The Torah establishes Shavuot as Hag Ha-Bikkurim, the festival of the early summer harvest. Over time, the holiday also became recognized as Zman Matan Torateinu, the time when we celebrate the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai by reading the Ten Commandments.

Service will be followed by cheesecake.
