The Writings of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks
Wed / 7:00 pm / 10 Sessions / Begins Feb 15 / 87th Street and Online
Rabbi Shmuel Afek
Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, one of the great (Jewish) thinkers of the last 50 years, was the first ‘homegrown’ Chief Rabbi of Great Britain, and this position granted him a platform from which to share his ideas with the English-speaking world both non-Jewish and Jewish. Through examination of his books, articles, and speeches, we’ll explore what made Rabbi Sacks such a remarkable individual, a man from whom many public figures drew inspiration.
