A leading authority on the Israeli economy and the social issues facing Israel today, Dr. Avi Weiss holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He is the President of the Taub Center of Social Policy Studies in Israel and a professor of economics at Bar-Ilan University. Dr. Weiss is also the editor of The Economic Quarterly – the Israel Economic Association’s journal – and a member of the Ministry of the Economy’s Committee on Productivity.
