This past fall, plaintiffs injured during the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA took many of the white supremacists involved to trial. The jury ultimately found the defendants responsible for substantive state offenses and liable for millions in damages. Hear two key perspectives on this case: our own former Chairman Alan Levine, one of the trial lawyers who built and tried the plaintiffs’ case, and Diane D’Costa, a witness who experienced the violence firsthand. Our panel will discuss the trial’s key moments, outcome, and impact on continuing to fight against antisemitism, white supremacy, and all forms of hate.
