Zachary Goldman's practice focuses on financial crime and fintech issues, with a particular focus on cryptocurrency, distributed ledger technology, financial sanctions, and anti-money laundering (AML). Mr. Goldman serves as a trusted advisor for the financial services sector, in particular cryptocurrency and digital asset companies, where he advises on a wide range of regulatory issues that affect virtual currency exchanges, investors, traders, wallet providers, protocol and software developers, token issuers, and others. Mr. Goldman also has substantial experience in complex cross-border enforcement proceedings related to cryptocurrency, AML, sanctions, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption.
Jonathan Mayer is the General Counsel of BlockFi, a global crypto financial services company that provides retail and institutional investors access to crypto-powered financial products and services. Mr. Mayers leads the charge in maintaining a robust legal and compliance framework for BlockFi, and is helping the company emerge as an active participant in ongoing regulatory conversations as the crypto regulatory landscape continues to evolve. Mr. Mayers has decades of experience in legal compliance, working for traditional financial leaders such as Renaissance Technologies, Deutsche Bank, and Barclay’s, as well as time spent at Davis Polk & Wardwell.
