Join us for special Friday evening Shabbat blessings for your children's birthdays! Children are called up to the bimah, usually during a Young Family Kabbalat Shabbat Service starting at 5:00 pm. In months when there is no Young Family Kabbalat Shabbat Service, children come to the bimah for birthday blessings at the Friday Evening Service in the sanctuary, beginning at 6:15 pm. They receive special birthday blessings and even a birthday gift! In June, we include those with summer birthdays in July and August.
