The Women’s Evening Group was founded in 1977. Our membership consists of women of all ages who are active in a multitude of professional and volunteer activities. We share a keen interest in contemporary issues and a strong sense of the importance of Jewish culture and tradition.

WEG has a calendar full of exciting programs. Topics range from cultural events to contemporary or historical issues relating to Jewish women.  We create educational programs and host parties for our members which foster networking and bonding. WEG also participates in social justice activities to help the homeless, the ill, and the abused.

WEG is open to every woman at Park Avenue Synagogue and in the greater Jewish community. We send out a membership form in the fall and look forward to welcoming both returning and new members.
