The UJA@PAS Committee promotes cooperation and collaboration between our synagogue community and UJA-Federation of New York's network of over 100 human-service, educational and community-building agencies. Through mitzvah projects, speakers and other special events, our goal is to encourage gemilut hasadim (acts of loving kindness) and be a caring community responsible for our fellow congregants, the Jewish community and all humanity. We encourage you to participate in one of our programs or tap into the various services available to PAS congregants.
· Social Work Support for PAS Seniors, Families and their Caregivers through a weekly onsite geriatric social worker.
· Employment and career counseling, financial consultation, debt counseling, budget assistance, legal services and personal counseling through UJA-Federation’s Connect-to-Care initiative.
· Support Groups to Cope with Loss through the JBFCS Jewish Bereavement Support Group Program
· Assistance in Navigating Mental Health Care for Children and Adolescents through UJA-Federation’s Mental Health GPS (Guiding Parents through Services)
