Park Avenue Synagogue offers programs for children in grades 1 through 12, involving them in fun, informative, fellowship-building activities, which strengthen their ties to Judaism, their peers and their community.
The High School program offers innovative and exciting programs for our teens in 8th to 12th grades. Visit us and see our formal and informal educational opportunities, now offered Monday-Thursday night as well as special Shabbat and weekend programming. We offer a wide variety of social, academic and community service programs designed to provide each student with a unique connection to and investment in the Park Avenue Synagogue Community.
With our High School and Youth Programs Director, Jason Oppenheimer, we will explore and approach Jewish learning in a whole new way. We have classes encompassing a variety of topics, such as learning about the Arab-Israeli conflict, conversing in Hebrew, to learning about the Holocaust and controversial Talmudic subjects. Come check out our amazing new youth lounge and hang out with our incredible clergy who double at night as High School faculty members. Don’t miss out on all of the fun!
