Director of School Operations, Phyllis Spiro
Phyllis has managed the Congregational School since 2003. She is excited to be part of the restructuring of the school together with all the teachers, specialists, students and families who will bring the new programming to life. She feels privileged to watch the children of PAS grow from Gan to middle school.

Gimel – Hey, Sarah Brokman
Sarah has taught in the Congregational School since 2009. She is studying towards an M.A. in Jewish Education from the Davidson School of JTS. Sarah is especially excited about the school’s new Shabbat Experience. Sharing oneg Shabbat, the joy of Shabbat, with other families will open the gateway to enthusiastic Jewish learning every day of the week.

Gan – Bet, Jamie Diamond
Jamie is familiar to the Congregational School community because she has taught Alef and Bet classes since 2008. She earned her M.A. in Jewish Education from the Davidson School of JTS. She looks forward to helping our youngest students develop curiosity about Judaism and connections to all aspects of Jewish life.

Vav – Zayin, Jennifer Stern
Jennifer earned her M.A. in Jewish Education at the Davidson School of Education at JTS. She comes to PAS after working at Camp Ramah in New England and teaching at the 92Y. She is most excited to be part of students’ preparation for Bar and Bat Mitzvah, because she feels that a meaningful journey towards this milestone is critical in creating interested and involved Jewish young adults.
